The other day, I had a po ‘boy craving, and you can’t have a po’ boy without remoulade sauce. I found a simple recipe that I was able to alter a bit to keep me from going back to the store. It turned out to be delicious, so now I have another recipe to share! Not only did I use the sauce for the po‘ boys, but also on shredded chicken tacos, steak tacos, and baked eggplant.
Ingredients:
1 ¼ cups of mayonnaise
¼ cups mustard (I used Boar’s Head Deli Mustard)
1 Tbsp smoked paprika
1 teaspoon chili powder
2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
1 teaspoon dill pickle juice
1 teaspoon hot sauce
1 clove of minced, smashed garlic
Instructions:
Mix all ingredients well in bowl and place in the fridge. It tastes better if left for a couple of hours to meld. Keep refrigerated.
