Our Adventure

Before blogs and hashtags, corporate jobs in Atlanta, and a kitty named Cleo, a boy and a girl met in college and became friends. Our friends said we were meant to be, but timing never seemed to be in our favor. Finally, years later, our feelings for each other coincided and we said, “I do.” We married in April 2006 when God brought our (more mature) hearts together in His perfect timing. Now, we share a life of love and friendship with both individual and mutual interests.

Currently, we reside in a suburb of Atlanta, where traffic, cube-life, and mismanaged time turned our lives into a boring snooze-fest. So, at the end of 2018, we decided to make changes and take advantage of the life around us. We enjoy food and crafts, and trying new things. In fact, we subscribed to Home Chef, which is a meal delivery service, and Stitch Fix and Dia & Co, two companies that send clothing to your home for you to try on.  Home Chef has introduced us to new foods and ways to prepare it, while the clothiers provided several items we never would have picked out ourselves. Plus, there is plenty to explore in and around Atlanta! We have no children, but we do have one precious cat, Cleo. You will get to know her through our blog, as well.

Life should be an adventure! We like trying new things! We like to be creative! And we like to read, cook, and explore. Because it’s hard to explore when you are overweight, we made a plan. One, to lose weight and get in shape. Two, get our finances and our house in order. And three, do more of the things we enjoy, learn some new things, and share it with you.
